Junior Golf
Junior Golf is a sport for your child with health, professional and personal benefits that can last a lifetime.  Our goal is to build long term relationships with young players and their families.   Our junior golf programs begin at age 4 and continue until they reach college.  We offer a yearlong Jr. Academy program that follows the Long Term Athlete Development Model.  We follow a structured curriculum that emphasizes athletic development in a fun environment while learning golf skills at the same time.  Juniors will graduate through the various levels each year.  When  they reach the age of 13/14  they will have to decide on playing golf as their sole sport or continue to play for the enjoyment of the game.  For those who choose the fast track we place them into the EPGA Elite Junior Academy.  Here students will develop the skills needed to compete on their high school teams, play in local and regional tournaments, and prepare for the task of playing in college.

We also offer our popular summer golf camps to kids ages 5-15.  We have half day sessions in the morning or the afternoon as well as a full day option.  Junior golfers will learn the fundamentals of the sport as well as on course rules and etiquette.  The camps take place at Westpark GC in Leesburg.  We have indoor/outdoor capabilities making weather a non-issue.  Campers receive instruction and an amenities pack each week they come.  Kids looking to receive more intensified instruction can partake in the Advanced Golf Camp.  This camp gets the kids on the course each day with an instructor.  The level of training is much more detailed and tailored to the individual.

Jr. League is a developmental (novices welcome) “little-league-like” travel  team for junior golfers ages 8-13. The official full schedule will be announced at the kick-off meeting (April 18th) but will include several practices and roughly 4 -8 matches for the “season” which will be May-July. If the team qualifies for regionals or nationals the tournament season may extend through September. Parents are encouraged and needed to volunteer, score matches and provide transportation to matches.

$150 includes team shirt and Bag Tag, PGA Jr. League Fee  (there will be no extra green fees), approx. 3-5 PGA Jr. League team official practices/scrimmages/meetings, approx 6 official matches.  For more information about PGA Jr. League Golf visit www.pgajrleaguegolf.com

We also offer private and semi-private lessons for junior golfers.  During private lessons we will focus on a specific topic or area.  The fundamentals are always looked at first.  From there we can structure a plan for improvement.  Kids 11 and under receive a discount on sessions to encourage participation.  Kids 12 and over are taught with a more serious mindset to ensure proper development through their adolescent years.

Throughout the year we will also be offering clinics for kids and their families to learn the game together.  These clinics will be held on the weekends and provide a fun environment for families to become more involved in the game.
