Adam Harrell, PGA
Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Adam was introduced to golf by his parents when he was just 4-years-old. As a child, he played a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer and golf. At 13 he decided to pursue golf full time. His dedication and desire to the game translated to winning the Virginia High School League state individual and team title his senior year. From there he received a full golf scholarship from George Mason University, and served as captain of the GMU golf team for three years. Upon graduating, Adam worked at the prestigious Burning Tree Club in Bethesda, Maryland, which led to the opportunity to work at the Jim McLean Golf School at the Doral Golf Resort in Miami, Florida. There he served as a lead assistant at the golf school, then became Jim McLean’s personal assistant for four years. As McLean’s personal assistant, Harrell was involved in every lesson, golf school, clinic, and presentation performed by Jim. He worked with McLean’s sons and both kids received Division 1 golf scholarships at Wake Forest and TCU.

Adam served as the Director of Instruction for the Jim McLean Golf School at Weston Hills Country Club, Weston, Florida; former site of the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. While there, he was in charge of the junior summer camp program attended by more than 350 students each year.  He taught the most hours company wide for 5 consecutive years.  He also coached and developed many young players through high school and prepared them for college golf.
